A Memorial Service for GARY “DJ RAX/GQ RILEY” SHELTON will be held at THE CHURCH OF CHRIST in Dallas. It will take place this SATURDAY (6/1) at 11am (CT). The church’s address is 4th Ave. 3220 JB Jackson (formally Park Row).
The 49-year-old Programmer/Air Personality died on MAY 1st. Shelton was the OM for CUMULUS MEDIA/Savannah, GA cluster and PD of Urban WEAS (E93) and R&B WTYB (Magic 103.9).
His career resume included PD of URBAN Broadcasting’s WESE/TUPELO, MS and he doubled as OM of company’s cluster in COLUMBUS/STARKVILLE, MS; PD for KBCE (102.3 JAMZ)/ALEXANDRIA, LA; and 7-years programming FLINN BROADCASTING Urban KXHT (HOT 107.1)/MEMPHIS.
