AUDACY Urban Hip-Hop and R&B WVEE (V-103)/ATLANTA recently (6/16) celebrated the 30th anniversary of PM drive’s GREG STREET with a live broadcast at BIG OOMP STUDIO KITCHEN in SOUTHWEST ATLANTA.

The event featured live tributes, surprise appearances, and proclamations from ATLANTA MAYOR ANDRE DICKENS and FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONER MARVIN ARRINGTON JR., alongside listeners and community leaders recognizing STREET’s impact on the music scene, local culture, and youth empowerment.

V-103 Brand Mgr. REGGIE ROUSE said, “We salute and honor DJ GREG STREET on his 30th radio anniversary at V-103. His consistency, cultural relevance and deep roots in this community are rare in our industry. We look forward to many more years because, as everyone knows, ‘GREG STREET BE BANGIN.’”

Before joining V-103, STREET built his career across MISSISSIPPI, ALABAMA, and TEXAS. From 2002-2005, he simultaneously hosted shows in ATLANTA at V-103 and in DALLAS at SERVICE BROADCASTING Urban KKDA (K-104).

Throughout his career, STREET has received multiple honors. In 2019, he was recognized in THE SOURCE MAGAZINE’S POWER 30. He was inducted into the NATIONAL BLACK RADIO HALL OF FAME in 2020, named DJ OF THE SOUTH by the NATIONAL ACADEMY OF RECORDING ARTS AND SCIENCES GRAMMY AWARDS in 2023, and honored by the CITY OF ATLANTA with 404 DAY proclaimed as GREG STREET DAY in 2024.
