BEASLEY MEDIA Classic Hip Hop WMGC (105.1 THE BOUNCE)/DETROIT APD/morning Co-host “MEAN JEAN” FREMONT has exited –his position was eliminated by the company. Co-host SHANNON RENEE will remain as a solo morning host.
On social media posted, FREMONT SAID, “They say all good things come to an end, and that includes my time at the BOUNCE and in DETROIT. My position with BEASLEY MEDIA was eliminated, and THURSDAY (10/31) was my last day with the company.”
“Over the last two years, we laughed, we cried, we celebrated, and did a lot of really dope things. Shoutout to SHANNON for being a star, welcoming me on my first day, which was also the first time we met, and making my job easy every day by being such a pro!”
“Doing a morning show was never a goal of mine, but I’m glad I had the opportunity to do it in this city. I never would’ve thought I’d go from doing afternoons in KNOXVILLE to mornings in DETROIT, but it happened and still blows my mind. Shoutout to the amazing city of DETROIT for embracing me, tuning in, and the positive feedback. I’m excited to spend more time with my family in FLORIDA while I figure out what’s next.”
FREMONT joined WMGC in OCTOBER 2022 from KNOXVILLE, TN where he previously served as PD/PM drive at SUMMITMEDIA Rhythmic WKHT (HOT 104.5). His resume includes WJHM turned Top 40 WQMP (101.9 AMP RADIO) ORLANDO, and COX MEDIA Top 40 WPYO (POWER 95.3)/ORLANDO.
