WDAS/Philadelphia Reveals Honorees For Annual ‘Women Of Excellence’ Luncheon
iHEARTMEDIA R&B (Urban AC) WDAS (105.3)/PHILADELPHIA has announced the honorees for its 9th annual “Women Of Excellence Luncheon,” set for SATURDAY APRIL 12th, at the SHERATON PHILADELPHIA DOWNTOWN.
This year’s Legend Award recipients include SHERRI SHEPHERD, who will be honored for Film & TV Achievement, and LALAH HATHAWAY, who will receive recognition for Musical Achievement.

DR. DOROTHY JOHNSON SPEIGHT, Founder & Executive Director of MOTHERS IN CHARGE
KENDRA VAN DE WATER, Co-CEO of YEAH PHILLY
WDAS will also recognize four women nominated by listeners, with one receiving the MARY J. BLIGE Award for Perseverance and Courage. The event will be hosted by WDAS personalities PATTY JACKSON, FRANKIE DARCELL, MIMI BROWN, and LORAINE BALLARD MORRILL. Special guest performances will be announced at a later date.
