Tems Opens NPR Music’s 2024 Black Music Month With ‘Tiny Desk’ Concert
NPR Music’s TINY DESK Concert series will feature Black female artists for BLACK MUSIC MONTH. The GRAMMY Award winning Nigerian singer TEMS will Kick off the month of special programming for the in-office audiences.
She’s returning to the concert series having last performed for TINY DESK during the pandemic in 2021. The performance coincides with the release of her debut album “Born In The Wild.” The appearance at NPR’s D.C. headquarters will center on brand-new material.
Other upcoming TINY DESK female performers for BLACK Music month include CHAKA KHAN, SWV, KIERRA SHEARD, FLO MILLI, MESHEL NDEGEOCELLO, TIERRA WHACK, and BRITTNEY SPENCER and LAKECIA BENJAMIN.
