RAB & MIW Now Accepting Applications For 2025 Women In Radio Leadership Program
The RADIO ADVERTISING BUREAU (RAB) has opened applications for the 17th annual RISING THROUGH THE RANKS leadership development program, produced in partnership with MENTORING AND INSPIRING WOMEN IN RADIO (MIW). This year’s program begins with a virtual session on AUGUST 12th, followed by in-person sessions in NASHVILLE from AUGUST 19th–21st.
RAB Pres./CEO MIKE HULVEY said “RISING THROUGH THE RANKS provides a rare opportunity to not only learn and connect with our speakers but also build their own networks with their fellow classmates from stations and radio groups across the U.S.”
RAB will once again offer full scholarships to selected participants. The program is specifically designed to support the advancement of women in broadcasting through leadership training and networking.
MIW Board Pres. SHEILA KIRBY added, “RISING THROUGH THE RANKS has long been instrumental in shaping the leadership journeys of so many incredible women in our industry. This program perfectly aligns with MIW’s mission to champion and advance women in media. We’re proud to continue supporting this impactful initiative and look forward to welcoming and empowering the 2025 class.”
Applications and scholarship submissions are open through MAY 30th at 5p (CT). Scholarship recipients will be notified on JUNE 23rd. Details on the agenda and speaker lineup will be announced soon. Additional information and applications are available here.
