Longtime Dallas Air Personality Sam Putney Dies At 76
Veteran air personality SAM PUTNEY has passed away at the age of 76. His death was confirmed by his family on MONDAY (9/23). PUTNEY was a news personality and a part of the SKIP MURPHY AND COMPANY MORNING SHOW on SERVICE BROADCASTING Urban KKDA (K104)/DALLAS from 1993 to 2006.
PUTNEY was raised in HOUSTON and graduated from JACK YATES HIGH SCHOOL. His career included working at KACE/LOS ANGELES and WBAP/DALLAS.
PUTNEY’s family, including his wife INA PUTNEY and son MARK PUTNEY, posted a message on social media:
