KBLX/SF Bids Farewell To Antoine Davis After Two Decades
BONNEVILLE INTERNATIONAL Throwbacks and R&B KBLX (102.9)/SAN FRANCISCO midday personality ANTOINE DAVIS has exited the station after a 20-year run.
DAVIS shared on INSTAGRAM: “Well, as they say, nothing lasts forever. As difficult as this is to do, I am reaching out to let you know that after 20+ years on 102.9 KBLX, it has been decided that it is time for me to move on. I want to thank you for always being kind, considerate, and loving to me all these years on the radio.”
“This is a tough breakup, but I do realize life happens to everyone. I’ll miss speaking those iconic call letters ‘KBLX.’ I’m very proud of what I was able to accomplish, and I realize I was the last link to a station we all loved and most of us grew up listening to. That being said, I hope to speak to you soon, and a big warm, loving THANK YOU.”
DAVIS’s career spans several notable stations, including KQBR/SACRAMENTO, KQOD/STOCKTON, KISQ (98.1 KISS FM)/SAN FRANCISCO, and KRNB/DALLAS.
