JACOBS MEDIA is conducting its sixth annual AQ6 survey (Air Talent Questionnaire). The focus is on commercial radio air talent. This year’s survey will examine the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in both on-air and radio operations behind-the-scenes.

The findings will be released at MORNING SHOW BOOT CAMP 36 in SAN DIEGO on AUGUST 8th. The survey’s scope includes a look at personal and professional relationships between talent, their management, and companies.

In addition, this year’s Air Talent Questionnaire will study the advancement of women in on-air roles, the motivations and challenges of radio personalities, and the emerging trend of talents chasing “side hustles” because of industry uncertainties.

JACOBS MEDIA Pres.  FRED JACOBS said, “Radio is evolving, and so are the roles of air talent across major markets and smaller communities. AQ6 includes insights from morning drive stars at major radio companies and talent from smaller markets working with local broadcasters.”

“These individuals serve as radio’s ambassadors, and understanding their evolving perspectives is crucial to maintaining radio’s relevance in American media and entertainment.”

If any air personality (Employed or unemployed) wants to participate in the survey, it will be available until JULY 23rd on the JACOBS MEDIA website here.
