Cumulus Promotes Jerold Jackson, Latangela Sherman, Glen

CUMULUS MEDIA has promoted JEROLD JACKSON to OM/BATON ROUGE for Urban WEMX (MAX 94.1), R&B KQXL (Q106.5), and Gospel WXOK (HEAVEN 95.7/1460.) He’ll also serve as PD/NEW ORLEANS for R&B KMEZ (102.9) and Gospel KKND (HEAVEN 106.7.)
As if he didn’t have enough on his plate, JACKSON will continue in his role as PD for R&B KNEK (MAGIC 104.7) and Urban KRRQ (Q95.5), both in LAFAYETTE. He’s held those positions since 2015 and has programmed CUMULUS MEDIA stations for 20 years.
JACKSON said, “I am deeply humbled and grateful to have been appointed as Operations Manager for NEW ORLEANS, BATON ROUGE, and LAFAYETTE. I am fortunate to have an outstanding team by my side, and I look forward to achieving great things together.”
CUMULUS MEDIA also announced other company promotions within the BATON ROUGE cluster, it includes LATANGELA SHERMAN to APD and GLEN ROBERSON MD for R&B KQXL (Q106.5) & for NEW ORLEANS R&B KMEZ (102.9.)
Additionally, VINCENT THOMAS has been promoted to APD for LAFAYETTE R&B KNEK (MAGIC 104.7) and Urban KRRQ (Q95.5.)
