Cumulus Media/Savannah, GA Names CJ Jackson PD For WEAS & WTYB
CUMULUS MEDIA has named CJ JACKSON PD/afternoons for Urban WEAS (E93)/SAVANNAH, GA and R&B WTYB (MAGIC 103.9). He’ll also serve as evening host on WTYB. He steps into the programming position previously held by the late GARY ‘DJ RAX’ SHELTON, who passed away in MAY 2024.
His appointment marks a return to CUMULUS/SAVANNAH. He hosted evenings at WEAS from 2012 to 2015.
Most recently JACKSON was MD at sister cluster CUMULUS/CHARLESTON, SC. Before that, he spent eight years as PD for iHEARTMEDIA/SAVANNAH, GA overseeing Hip-Hop N’ R&B WQBT (94.1 THE BEAT) and R&B WLVH (LOVE 101.1).
