CORE RADIO GROUP will discontinue programming Urban/Hip-Hop W236CF (STREETZ 95.1)/CHICAGO, fed by TELEVISAUNIVISION’s WOJO-HD2 (105.1)/EVANSTON, at the end of MAY.

The CHICAGO translator, owned by WINDY CITY BROADCASTING, has carried CORE RADIO GROUP’s STREETZ format for the past four years. Programming included the syndicated YOUNG JOC AND THE STREETZ MORNING TAKEOVER from SUPERADIO NETWORKS and a local afternoon show hosted by TREY THE CHOKLIT JOK.

CORE RADIO GROUP Pres./CEO STEVE HEGWOOD said, “There were a number of factors in the decision to discontinue in Chicago. However, I am very grateful to the commitment from the entire staff and the opportunity to serve our listeners and clients over the past 4 years.”
