Charlamagne Fights Back Against Trump Ad Misusing His Voice
CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD has taken legal action (cease-and-desist) against the campaign of former President DONALD TRUMP, demanding the removal of an ad that uses his voice without consent. The ad focuses on VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS and the issue of taxpayer-funded surgeries for transgender prisoners.
The ad includes a 30-second clip of CHARLAMAGNE from a recent “THE BREAKFAST CLUB” episode, in which he says, “[****] no, I don’t want my taxpayer dollars going to that.” CHARAMANGE wants the parts of the TRUMP edited ad that utilizes his voice removed.
CHARLAMAGNE said, “I’ll tell you what, that ad they were running during the football games this weekend claiming the Vice President supports funding gender transition surgeries for all prison inmates and migrants in the U.S., that was nuts.”
“I don’t know if it was the backdrop of football, but when you hear the narrator say, “KAMALA supports taxpayer-funded sex changes for prisoners,” that one line, I was like, hell no, I don’t want my taxpayer dollars going to that.”
“That ad was effective. It literally said that KAMALA supports taxpayer-funded sex changes for prisoners, and it talks about how, you know, she supports funding gender transition surgeries for all prison inmates and migrants in the United States. That ad was impactful.”
