BMG Revamps Executive Structure
BMG has revealed its U.S. FRONTLINE RECORDED new structure and it follows the implemented BMG Next Strategy plan. BMG NORTH AMERICA FRONTLINE RECORDING Pres. JON LOBA will now assume the expanded role of FRONTLINE RECORDINGS, THE AMERICAS Pres. He’ll be responsible for the teams in the U.S., CANADA, MEXICO, and BRAZIL.
BMG NASHVILLE RECORDED MUSIC EVP JOJAMIE HAHR will oversee day-to-day management of BBR MUSIC GROUP and its imprints — BROKEN BOW RECORDS and WHEELHOUSE RECORDS. She will continue to report to LOBA.
In BMG’s LOS ANGELES office, RECORDED MUSIC West Coast EVP DAN GILL will oversee BMG’s RECORDED MUSIC genres for Pop, Rock, R&B/Hip-Hop, and international outbound repertoire. He will report to LOBA.
Marketing/SVP CYNDI LYNOTT will lead BMG’s RECORDED FRONTLINE Pop strategy and report to DAN GILL. RISE RECORDS SVP SEAN HEYDORN will now lead RECORDED FRONTLINE Rock, including metal and hard rock label Rise Records. He also will report to DAN GILL.
International Marketing/SVP SHANE COSME will handle all marketing efforts of outbound global releases from the U.S.-based repertoire to BMG’s international territories. He reports directly to DAN GILL. A&R and Marketing/VP JECOURE LAMOTHE will be responsible for the day-to-day operations for Hip-Hop/Rap label RBC RECORDS. He’ll report to TIM REID.
In NASHVILLE, Repertoire & Marketing/SVP TIM REID will be responsible for the development and focus of R&B/Hip-Hop and oversee the LA-based Hip-Hop/Rap label RBC RECORDS. He reports to DAN GILL. In Miami, Repertoire & Campaign Management/VP ZARAH ORTIZ will oversee the LATAM repertoire strategy in MEXICO And BRAZIL. She reports to LOBA.
In CANADA, BRYAN COLUMBUS joins BMG as VP of RECORDED MUSIC. His duties are to lead the company’s FRONTLINE RECORDING efforts from its office in TORONTO. He reports to JON LOBA.
