Audacy, SupeRadio Debut Classic Hip-Hop Show ‘rapfabulous’ For WBMX/Chicago & WXBK/New York
AUDACY has teamed with SUPERADIO to launch “rapfabulous,” a new syndicated WEEKEND program focused on Classic Hip-Hop. The two-hour show debuts this SATURDAY APRIL 19th on AUDACY Rhythmic WBMX (104.3 JAMS)/CHICAGO and AUDACY Throwback WXBK (94.7 THE BLOCK)/NEW YORK.
The show is hosted by veteran Radio/Music exec MIC FOX and veteran Radio & TV broadcaster JAZZIE BELLE. The show will feature legacy artists, moments in Hip-Hop history, and curated interviews with industry pioneers. WBMX will air the show SATURDAY mornings from 6–8a (CT), while WXBK will air it SUNDAY evenings from 5–7p (ET). It will also stream nationally on the AUDACY app.

MIC FOX’s resume includes PD in several key markets, and held marketing roles at ATLANTIC RECORDS, ISLAND DEF JAM, and TVT RECORDS. He helped launch VEVO during his time with UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP and later founded the creative agency BLURRED SPACES. Most recently, he served as VP/Digital Strategy and Content at EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS.
JAZZIE BELLE began her radio career co-hosting with the late DJ KAY SLAY on SHADE 45/SIRIUSXM. She later launched the WOMEN IN HIP-HOP PODCAST in 2017, now part of the REVOLT PODCAST NETWORK. BELLE has also worked as a host and red-carpet correspondent for BET NETWORKS and VIBE.COM. She is currently a contributor for PIX11 NEWS/NY and host of THEINSIDEHOLLYWOOD.NET.
