The MIW MILDRED CARTER MENTORING PROGRAM application window is open from now through 11/3. The program pairs mentees with successful women leaders in all areas of radio broadcasting. Those selected as finalists must be available for a potential ZOOM meeting on NOVEMBER 16th, 3p-4p (CST).

Established in 2002, the program was named after the late MILDRED CARTER, co-founder of KPRS-KPRT/KANSAS CITY (CARTER BROADCAST GROUP). The stations are currently the oldest Black owned and operated stations in the U.S.

Four candidates within the sales, marketing, programming, and digital sectors will be selected for the 2023-2024 program. To apply, you must meet these qualifications:

•    A minimum of five years in the radio industry

•    A job title of Director or higher

•    An ability to commit to the time to make this program work
