J Steele Departs WDMK & WMGC/DETROIT, Continues At KKFR/PHOENIX
BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP has made staffing cuts that include the departure of JONATHAN ‘J’ STEELE as remote APD of R&B WDMK (105.9 KISS-FM)/DETROIT and Afternoon Host at Classic Hip-Hop WMGC (105.1 THE BOUNCE)/DETROIT.
STEELE previously served in-house as APD and Afternoons at WMGC from APRIL 2019 through OCTOBER 2020. He has held those roles remotely since that time.
He’ll continue in his position as PD/Morning Host at ZELUS Top 40 Rhythmic KKFR (POWER 98.3)/PHOENIX.
His programming resume includes stints at Top 40 Rhythmic KKSS (KISS 97.3)/ALBUQUERQUE, Hot AC KKRG (MIX 105.1)/ALBUQUERQUE, Urban WAMO/PITTSBURGH, WLOA (LOUD 102.3)/YOUNGSTOWN, Top 40 WYUL (94.7 HITS-FM)/CHATEAUGAY NY-MONTREAL, and Top 40 WPIA (98.5 KISS-FM)/PEORIA.
