CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD and “JOHN WICK” Producer BASIL IWANYK have launched SOUTHLAND STORIES, a new production company focused on amplifying Southern voices through film and storytelling, reported VARIETY.
The company’s first project will be TRUE THREAT, a revenge thriller starring JONATHAN MAJORS. Production is scheduled to begin this SUMMER.
TRUE THREAT was written and will be directed by GERARD MCMURRAY. The film tells the story of a special forces operative who seeks vengeance after gang members murder his teenage son. The project is being produced by ALEXIS GARCIA of CAT5 and is one of several in development under the SOUTHLAND STORIES banner.
