Raheem Devaughn To Host WHUR/Washington DC’s ‘Original Quiet Storm’
HOWARD UNIVERSITY’s R&B WHUR (96.3 FM)/WASHINGTON, D.C., has added singer/entertainer RAHEEM DEVAUGHN to the lineup as the new host of the “Original Quiet Storm.” He’ll be on weeknights 7:30p -12mid.
The announcement comes as WHUR prepares to celebrate nearly 50 years of the “Original Quiet Storm,” a program made legendary by the late MELVIN LINDSEY since its debut in 1976. RAHEEM DEVAUGHN is an experienced radio host with a self-titled podcast running since 2012.
