Atlanta Black Radio Leads Voter Registration Drive For 2024 Election

In addition, there will be a focus on encouraging voters to check their current registration status and provide information about what will be on the ballot.
Here’s what the participating Black Radio Programmers had to say:

Now, it’s our responsibility to pass on the significance of this civic duty to future generations.”
BLACK RADIO UNITED FOR THE VOTE launched during the 2020 election to mobilize GEORGIA voters. The idea came from KISS 104 PD TERRI AVERY, who was inspired by Black broadcasters in CHICAGO organizing community events to address the low African American voter turnout.
