WHUR/Washington DC Teams Nina Brown & Joe Clair For Afternoons
HOWARD UNIVERSITY R&B WHUR (96.3)/WASHINGTON, DC has launched “THE NINA BROWN AND JOE CLAIR AFTERNOON SHOW.” The local program replaces COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS/OCEANIC TRADEWINDS syndicated FRANK SKI SHOW, which previously featured the same NINA BROWN.
Before joining the syndicated FRANK SKI SHOW, BROWN co-hosted SKI’s morning show at COX MEDIA R&B WALR (104.1)/ATLANTA. Her career includes Producer for WVEE/ATLANTA’s “FRANK AND WANDA MORNING SHOW,” Morning Show Producer for THE FRANK SKI MORNING SHOW at WHUR/WASHINGTON, DC, and on-air talent at NBC’s WXIA-TV/ATLANTA, 11ALIVE NEWS.
Comedian JOE CLAIR currently co-hosts FOX 5’s (TV) “DMV ZONE”/WASHINGTON, DC and previously hosted WPGC’s Morning Show from 2015 until 2021.
His resume includes five years as host of BET’s RAP CITY, appearances on DEF COMEDY JAM and COMICVIEW, hosting a SUNDAY night Hip-Hop show on WPGC with BIG TIGGER, co-hosting the RUSS PARR MORNING SHOW, and a stint co-hosting afternoons at WHUR/DC with FRANK SKI.
