MIW Presents 2nd Annual ‘Behind The Mic Mentorship’ For
Women In Radio
MENTORING AND INSPIRING WOMEN IN RADIO, INC. (MIW) has unveiled the 2nd annual “Behind the Mic Mentorship.” This program provides year-long support for women in on-air roles to advance their careers. The 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focuses on the advancement of female leadership in radio broadcasting.
The mentorship is exclusively for female personalities that have been in an on-air position for at least 3-5 years in local or national radio programming and have demonstrated a desire to grow their career. This opportunity is available to one female on-air talent from any U.S. based music format.
MIW Board Pres. RUTH PRESSLAFF said, “Behind the Mic is by far our most competitive mentorship. But you know what they say, you have to be in it to win it, so get your aircheck ready and go! A special thanks to HEATHER COHEN and the WEISS AGENCY for supplying a network of introductions to the best in the business for this coming year (and last year’s!) mentee!”
The person selected will receive personalized conversations and advice from industry professionals. In addition, the program affords the mentee the chance to attend the RADIO SHOW 2025 this APRIL in LAS VEGAS. Applications are open now and through AUGUST 30th. To apply, click here.
