Meta Introduces ‘AI Studio’ For Custom Chatbot Creation
META (formally known as FACEBOOK) recently launched AI STUDIO for creating custom chatbots. The feature will provide prompt templates or a start-from-scratch option to create an AI. These chatbots can teach users to cook, help with INSTAGRAM captions, or generate memes, reported DIGITAL MUSIC NEWS.
The chatbots can be created for personal use or shared with followers and friends. They can be posted for anyone to find and chat with on INSTAGRAM, MESSENGER, WHATSAPP, and the web. There are questions concerning the legality of creating chatbots for characters from intellectual properties not owned by the user.
META is promoting AI STUDIO as a tool to create a chatbot extension of oneself. It can answer common DM questions and post replies.
The company said, “Whether it’s sharing facts about themselves or linking to their favorite brands and past videos, creator AIs can help creators reach more people and fans get responses faster.”
Users can create a new AI character by starting a message on INSTAGRAM and tapping “Create an AI chat.” The AI character’s name, personality, tone, avatar, and tagline can be customized.
Examples of chatbots created with AI STUDIO include EAT LIKE YOU LIVE THERE! by Chef MARC MURPHY, offering personalized tips for local dining while traveling, and WHAT LENS BRO, providing tips on finding the perfect lens, created by Photographer/Videographer ANGEL BARCLAY.
